Neutral tone trousers

It is an essential to have a pair of earthy toned trousers that you can wear casually and professionally. I love gravitating towards a neutral pair for the summer time.

Aritzia has a great selection of neutral tone colors to choose from and it makes it a lot easier when it comes to styling.

Shoulder handbag

My go to bag has been a chocolate brown shoulder bag from Asos.com.

For my budget friendly gals, there are so many brands that are sell classic style shoulder bags. My favorite brands are from Asos, L'academie, LPA and Lovers & Friends.

Shoulder bags has made a huge come back since last year & it has been something that I personally love wearing myself. I think it's important for petite women to not go too big on handbags. The bigger the bag, the more overpowering it will be on your stature. Remember, balance is everything.

Midi dress

It’s such a classic staple piece to add into your wardrobe for this spring/summer.

Not only is it so easy to wear but it has the right silhouette to flatter any women’s figure really well.

My favorite brand for midi dresses is from Aritzia. The color palette is there but it also hits me at the right length with no need to alter any further.

Another favorite of mine is PrincessPolly. They have more affordable friendly styles and the sizing and fit is really consistent.

Mules

Having a staple pair of shoes for the spring and summer is a must have. I will say my go-to shoe has been mules because of its simplicity and versatility.

I love being able to wear pretty much anything with them and I enjoy the elevation it gives my overall look.

My personal favorite pair of heels are white mules from Tony Bianco.

They are extremely comfortable and easy to dress around. I like the fact that they are white because it just makes it more versatile when I put together my outfits.

Tip: White or neutral tone colored heels are the best for not just the warmer months but for all year around. I would stay away from the color black since it comes off a bit harsh for the summer time.

White Denim

I bought my first pair of high end white denim jeans a few months ago from Agolde. I will say it was one of the best investments I've made on a clothing piece.

When it comes to denim, I typically raw cut the hem because I get to adjust the length myself and there is minor mistakes when cutting it on my own. The length of denim usually comes long for me, since I am 5'1 so raw cutting my denim is a fun way to alter my clothes myself.

Light-wash Denim

A pair of light wash denim is another piece that is an essential in my spring and summer wardrobe. I love the wash of lighter denim for the warmer months, especially when paired with a white blouse or tunic on top.

& just like the my diy on the white denim, I also raw cut my light wash denim.

Nothing beats a nice pair of denim on a causal Friday at work.

Ready to revamp your wardrobe?

Overall these are my staple pieces for this spring and summer. I hope this gives you a better guide on what to look out for when you are shopping online during your time in quarantine.
